Porcelain Stoneware
Porcelain stoneware is a very hard material, particularly resistant to chemical agents, frost and water. Ideal for floors in restaurants, airports, schools, hospitals and shopping centres, it is also widely used in private homes.
Over the years manufacturers have created various finishes, which basically fall into two categories:
• natural stoneware (also called full body) which comes with a glossy polished, lapped or textured finish;
• lapped stoneware, which undergoes a process to give the material a special look.
Correct treatment protects it from stains and dirt, makes maintenance easier and lengthens its life.
